Handwriting Series

Some time ago I was inspired to create lampshade designs featuring old-style handwriting.
You can read about how it all began here. There are currently two styles in the series which you can choose from:

Schoolwork
History lessons, Mathematics, spelling, and other random writings dating back to the late 1920's.

Recipes
Old-school kitchen secrets passed down and shared between households. These well-worn writings range from the 1930's-40's,  with the scanned in pages capturing every butter stain, scorch mark, tattered corners and paper tear.

What's your idea?
I'm always approached by people who would like to provide their own sentimental papers:
- wedding vows
- letters
- hand drawings
- architectural plans
- old sketches

I can utilise the original paper you provide, or scans if they are too precious. Feel free to email me with what you have in mind and we can chat about the endless possibilities.

The best thing about it, is you end up with a lighting piece which is 100% unique.
