How do I go about placing a custom made order?
The first step is to contact me by email with what you have in mind. Every bespoke order is different and sometimes it can take a few communications back and forth to finalise the details.
How long do orders take to complete?
It usually depends on the complexity of your order, and how many pieces I have going at any one time.
The length of the waiting list is constantly changing, but usually around 2-4 weeks.
If you have an urgent request, such as a gift that needs to be ready by a certain date, just let me know.
Once an order is ready, I will send you some photos of the finished piece before we move ahead with payment & shipping.
Do you require a deposit?
Most of the time I don't ask for a deposit. It may only be necessary if you requested in a particularly large shade or a shape I don't usually stock, and I have to order it in especially.
What do you charge for shipping?
Shipping costs differ dramatically from order to order depending on the size and weight of the shade or lamp desired.
Please contact me for a quote on the discounted shipping rates I offer via Australia Post or Fastway Couriers.
What payment types to you accept?
I use a Paypal online invoice system, which allows you to use Paypal, Visa or Mastercard.
If you are collecting your order in person (Geelong, Australia) then you are welcome to pay with cash, or I can use PayPal Here™ which enables swiping Mastercard & Visa.
I can also accept Bank transfers by EFT if none of the above is suitable for you.
While every effort is made to ensure your complete satisfaction - if you are not 100% happy with your piece once it arrives, please contact me immediately so we can arrange it's prompt return. You have 14 days to send it back.
Once the piece arrives back intact and undamaged, I will refund you the full price of the piece, ex-shipping costs.
You are also welcome to exchange the piece if you prefer, which is also great peace of mind if you want to buy someone a gift.
If your choice is not quite right, the recipient of your gift will be able to exchange their piece for something else in my range.
Do you have Gift Vouchers?
Yes and they are valid for 12 months.
